C3P is a global leader in combating online child sexual abuse and exploitation through education, awareness, intervention, advocacy, and innovation. C3P operates:
- Project Arachnid, a global platform reducing the online availability of child sexual abuse material; and
- Cybertip.ca, Canada’s national tipline for reporting online child sexual exploitation.

About the C3P Legal Department
C3P’s legal team supports organizational advocacy and policy initiatives while advising on risk management, emerging technology issues, criminal law, contracts, governance, and intellectual property. The legal team also leads several impactful court advocacy initiatives. The work is intellectually challenging, rewarding, and constantly evolving.
Examples of the legal team’s work include:
- Researching, drafting, and reviewing legal education and advocacy materials, including reports and submissions to governments and international bodies;
- Drafting, negotiating, and maintaining contracts with organizations in Canada and internationally; and
- Contributing to C3P’s case law database and collaborating with interested parties including Crown attorneys, and parole and probation officers.

Please note: all positions are based onsite in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Remote or out-of-province work arrangements are not available.
Applicant Requirements
Candidates must:
- Be either a member in good standing with the Law Society of Manitoba and eligible to practice law without restrictions or eligible for membership as a lawyer with the Law Society of Manitoba at the time of interview;
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a lawyer;
- Possess strong research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills;
- Be able to explain complex legal and technical issues in plain language;
- Be willing to take direction and incorporate feedback, as well as work independently and take the initiative to mitigate risk and problem solve as needed; and
- Successfully satisfy all conditions of employment (see below).
French/English bilingualism is considered an asset.
