About the Training
The Kids in the Know (KIK) online training assists educators with successful implementation of the KIK program, our interactive safety education program for children from kindergarten to high school.
This online training addresses the following:
- goals of the KIK program
- teaching methods used in the lessons
- the 7 Root Safety Strategies the program is based on
- steps to take before starting the program
- how to introduce lessons to students in a fun, age-appropriate way
This online training comes with Commit to Kids: Foundational Information for Safeguarding Children from Sexual Abuse, which should be completed prior to the Kids in the Know online training.
