The Canadian Centre for Child Protection (C3P) is a national charity dedicated to the personal safety and protection of children. Our goal is to reduce the sexual abuse and exploitation of children, to assist in the location of missing children, and to prevent child victimization.
C3P operates Cybertip.ca — Canada’s tipline for reporting child sexual abuse and exploitation on the internet — as well as other prevention and intervention programs and initiatives.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and detail‑oriented individual to join our team as a Communications Coordinator.
The Communications Coordinator plays a key role in the promotion and distribution of C3P’s communications to both internal and external stakeholders. This role is responsible for creatively engaging the public and the media in order to enhance the overall awareness of C3P and its programs across Canada. Duties include, but not limited to, writing/editing internal and external resources/documents, media buying, preparing news briefs to share internally and monthly newsletter externally, updating C3P’s websites, exploring new, creative ways to promote C3P on social media, and other special projects as assigned.
- University degree or college diploma in a relevant field
- Experience working with various stakeholders, media and/or the public
- Experience with multitasking and adapting within fast paced environment
- Experience managing conflict and difficult clients/stakeholders
- Experience working in a team environment
- Exhibits knowledge of C3P’s identity, mission, and goals
- Energetic, enthusiastic, creative, committed
- Demonstrates strong writing and editing skills
- On call availability (minimal)
