About This Position

C3P is seeking a responsible, dedicated individual to join our team as a Digital Media & Graphic Designer.

Looking for a job that makes a positive impact for children worldwide? The Canadian Centre for Child Protection is a national charitable organization dedicated to the personal safety of all children. We own and operate Canada's national tipline to report the online sexual exploitation of children — Cybertip.ca — and are currently looking for a responsible, dedicated individual to join our Education Development team as a full time Digital Media & Graphic Designer.

The Digital Media & Graphic Designer will work in a high-energy and collaborative design environment with various internal staff as well as external companies. You will create and deliver complex animation, graphics, Print Design and video content for a diverse array of media from conceptualization to storyboard and editing. Your work will support the Canadian Centre’s national programs and will require the ability to effectively assess target audience and visually guide messaging for children, youth, parents, professionals and the public.

Job Qualifications – Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Graphic Design/Digital Media/Communication Design with a concentration in animation, video and motion graphics
  • 2 years’ experience in a motion and/or graphic design environment
  • Strong technical skills and proven ability to use a variety of design, animation and video editing software including Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to partner with other creative team members and key stakeholders to create content used across a variety of platforms
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills
  • Great communication skills with the ability to receive and interpret feedback and meet tight deadlines

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • High level of imagination and creativity
  • Illustrate skills considered an asset
  • Strong attention to detail in typography, colour and graphic style
  • Ability to design print, web, and Video content with consideration for brand guidelines
  • French would be considered an asset
