About This Position

At the Canadian Centre for Child Protection, we are a national charity where everyone is dedicated to improving the personal safety of all children every single day. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant.

The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in the organization as the first point of contact for incoming guests both in person and over the telephone. Other duties include providing day-to-day administrative support for the organization ranging from reception, sorting incoming correspondence, appointment scheduling, ensuring the office is always clean, tidy and stocked with supplies, ordering and picking up hospitality items for meetings, arranging travel, Executive Director support, assisting with educational orders and human resources.

Requirements Include:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field (or equivalent level of experience)
  • Administrative and customer service experience Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with the public and staff over the phone and in person
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare, edit and format correspondence with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Positive can-do attitude and team spirit!

Considerations Include:

  • Entry level position
  • Driver’s License and Vehicle required
  • English/French bilingualism is an asset
