The Canadian Centre for Child Protection (Canadian Centre) is a national charity dedicated to the personal safety and protection of children. Our goal is to reduce the sexual abuse and exploitation of children, to assist in the location of missing children, and to prevent child victimization.
The Canadian Centre operates Cybertip.ca — Canada’s tipline for reporting child sexual abuse and exploitation on the internet — as well as other prevention and intervention programs and initiatives.
About This Position
The Canadian Centre is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and resourceful individual to join our team as a administrative coordinator.
The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, has excellent attention to detail, is able to multi-task, has strong written and oral communication skills, advanced computer skills and possesses a positive, can-do attitude.
The administrative coordinator is a central member of the team, providing support to both internal staff and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include providing day-to-day administrative support for a fast-paced team, responding to incoming inquiries over the phone and in writing, proactively reaching out to stakeholders (e.g. educators, child-serving organizations, etc.), trouble-shooting and managing user access to internet based services, assisting with special projects, and helping to increase awareness about child safety.
